MINNIE MOUSE

Prototype made from new mini kits whcih will be provieded to support Cancer Support Group Yorkshire.

The kits will include all the material, pattern,beads, wadding and thread to make this adorable mouse - size approx. 3".  They will be available in a variety of coloured fabrics............enjoy!

SKIPTON CANCER SUPPORT  - WALL HANGING

I have great pleasure in sharing this photo of the group wall hanging created at Skipton Cancer Support Centre with the help of Christine our tutor.

Several ladies attending the textile sessions (Tuesday 11am -1pm) worked together to complete this fantastic wall hanging using so many different textile techniques. It took almost a year to complete and now resides pride of place in the support therapy room.  Well done ladies!!!

Another new addition to the family, Rosie my new Fetch the Dog creation from a pattern in the current Debbie Shore sewing magazine.  I think it turned out reasonably well and useful too!

BERTIE AND BUNTY

Just been having a bit of fun with a pair of socks, new ones of course.  Sock monkeys are easy to make and make a lovely gift for a child or even an adult.  My first two made - Bertie and Bunty have been given to my grandchildren for Easter.

FREYA my birthday girl!

Just been testing the new Cut n Boss machine with a shutter card die set from Tattered Lace.
 Couldn't resist making my first sample for my granddaughter Freya Louise who will be 7 on the 18th April 2015.
The dies are easy to use, the papers/flowers used are from a pad from Craftwork cards   www.craftworkcards.co.uk

Bunch of cards

Just a few sample cards made recently with items from Craftwork Cards, backgrounds were made with chalks/spnge through a cirdcle hole punched in cardstock.  I like the softness this has achieved to compliment the bows/sentiments/candy .  Hope you like them too.

Pop Up Flower Box

The pop up box cards are just so easy to make, you decide how you want to decorate them.  For my friend Audrie's birthday card I used papers and flowers from Craftwork cards which turned out rathe well I thought.

GRANDSON CURTIS 4th BIRTHDAY

Hugs and Kisses Birthday Wishes go to my Grandson Curtis Pearson who is 4 on 20th July 2014.

He is just so mad about pirates the choice for me was easy ho ho mee mateys!!

I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the pirate ship, skull & crossbones  and bannerthe wording

was done on the computer.  Hope you like it!

Lucille's Pop Up Box Card

Couldn't resist making another one of these lovely pop up box cards from Craftwork Cards.
This was made for my special friend Lucille's birthday and she was delighted with it.
I cannot believe how rediculously easy these are to make with such stunning result and all fit into an A5 envelope too!............enjoy.

A Birthday Gift for my Special Friend

I found this rather cute little moneybox which I thought would be an ideal extra fun gift to give my friend on her 60th Birthday.  I had to put my box making skills to the test and thankfully it worked.  To top the gift off I included 60p inside to commerate her years.  I think she was as pleased with this as well as the kindle voucher so the effort was well worth it......enjoy.

I decided to give the wreath idea another go this time it was not a kit so I put my own twist on it and hope you like the result.  I have known my friend Susan for over 35 years so we go way back.  I am pleased to say that Susan was delighted with the card which was made from a sheet of flowers from Craftwork Cards cut, layered and shaped, placed on a circle shape cut from my Silhouette Cameo finally decorated with pearls and ribbon..............enjoy, 

Floral Posy Wreath

This rather sweet looking card was made for my friend Pauline's birthday.  It was made from a Crafwork Cards floral wreath kit.  I think it said it all as my friend was delighted with it..........enjoy!

Elegant Christmas Card

I love the way this card turned out using a cut and embossing folder die on cream cardstock, a spellbinders die cut embellishment, a cute reindeer sentiment circle stamp topped off with taupe satin bow....voila!

Silent Night - Christmas 2012

This years Christmas card was made by using Clarity stamp outline images which was then masked and Butterfly Kisses images were stamped inside, coloured with ink dusters and distress inks then mounted onto navy cardstock.  The sentiment was computer generated and layered underneath.........enjoy
