Oh Christmas Tree!
I am making a few charity Christmas cards with some friends and this is my first offering. We were lucky enough to have a box of freebies donated from Kanban cards and this is what we intend to use.......maybe more to follow so watch this space.
A little light!
I made this special card for a dear friend of mine who recently celebrated her 75th birthday. The images are from Joanna Sheen's Thomas Kinkade Cd which is truly magical. The floral areas have been sprinkled with flower soft to create a really 3D look and just a touch of glitter and of course a beautiful bow.
Cosmic Shimmers
The card was created using cosmic shimmer paints direct to the stamp the dry and stamp over again in a different colour. This was a technique I learnt from a class with Sheena Douglas who is a very creative lady.
In the garden
This cute card was made with Sarah Kay rubber stamps, coloured with aquacolours and some pretty papers. The flower was made with a 2" frilly circle punch which was cut into to form the petals and a button added for the centre.
Friendship
I made this card for my friends.......? birthday. We share a love of crafting and I hope it made her happy on her birthday. It was made with my scoreboard, rubber stamps, cuttlebug/nesties die finished off with pearly doodles and a sentiment made on the computer.

Black and white decorative paper was added to the side panel along with a black stamp embossed word topper together with tiny Christmas trees and the words JOY were cut on the cricut machine. Hope you like it.

OH BOY
NEW ARRIVAL
I made this for the birth of my new grandson Curtis in April this year. The image is a digi one from Pink Petticoat which I coloured then resized it to make a border strip. The Oh Boy was cut on my cricut machine and faux stitching added.........enjoy.

BIRD - HOUSE
TWEETIE PIE
It was time to dig out all those 12 x 12 papers we keep hoarding and try and make use of them. I cut a shaped card out freehand . I matted and layered the square front with some faux stitching round the edge, the bird and scalloped edge border was cut on my cricut machine with a few paper daisies to complete the card.......enjoy.

We all get there at sometime in our Life!
THE BIG 40
This card was made with some nice jacquard paper design which I tweaked the colours to match the blue theme. The numbers 40 was cut on my cricut machine using the jacquard design, ribbons and buttons added plus a Paper Artsy black embossed image inside with cogs/wheels, a black bow on the spine of the card just finished it off........enjoy.
Just In Time

I made this card for someone who is a very much an handy man. It was made with Crafters Companion design paper and card frame template together with a new cuttlebug embossing folder with cogs/wheels clocks etc. on. Birthday in stitches!
I made this card after being inspired with similar designs I had seen in a magazine. I new exactly who to make it for as my friend has been a stitcher all her life reaching the ripe old age of 83 years. It was fun finding different papers to make the patchwork and cutting the scissor from my trusty old sizzix machine. The needle was made from wire and the ribbon and buttons are just some from my stash.
A New Venture
Well I've finally bitten the bullet and created my first blog. Everyone needs a challenge and this has certainly been one for me. After visiting hundreds of blogs I thought I too would like to share some of my creativity however simple it may be so, I do hope you enjoy my blog and always find time to craft .
